Personal Financial Planning Course Instructors
Cory, president of a local financial organization, has assisted clients for 14 years. He specializes in helping individuals create solid retirement and financial strategies that minimize taxes. Cory has acquired several professional designations including Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC). Over the past few years, his articles have appeared in numerous publications and Cory has been invited on television and radio shows as a guest financial services expert.
Kerry has been helping his clients plan for their financial security since 1992. Knowing each client is unique, Kerry uses a needs-based approach while working with individuals and families to attain their retirement and overall financial goals. Comprehensive insurance reviews are also a very important part of the service he provides. Kerry has lived and worked in Lincoln for over 12 years with clients in Nebraska, Iowa, Florida and Texas.
As a life-long resident of Lincoln and a graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Ken has developed a discipline for hard work, conservative values and attention to detail. Beginning in 1992, Ken started his financial service career with a local bank and quickly moved into a trust department with an emphasis in investment management, employee benefit administration and client education. He has received the designation of Certified Financial Educator, is licensed with FINRA completing the series 7, 63 and 66 licenses and is licensed with the State of Nebraska Department of Insurance completing the life and health insurance licenses. As an independent Investment Advisor Representative, Ken is focused on serving clients with unbiased solutions tailored to meet their unique needs with solid financial fundamentals.
Since 1999, Greg has educated his clients to strategically balance their portfolios to protect them during uncertain economic conditions and to take advantage on the upside of the market. He is an Investment Advisory Representative and holds the NASD Series 7 and NASAA Series 63 and 65 licenses along with licenses for Life, Disability and Long Term Care Insurance. He is a member of the National Institute of Certified College Planners (NICCP). Greg was born and raised in Westphalia, Iowa. He is married to Donna and they have three children.
An active member of the financial services industry since 1972, Tim has held positions in both the home office and field. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the past President of the General Agents and Manager Association. He is currently the President and CEO of a financial services firm with offices in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.
Lee has more than seven years of accounting and corporate management experience at the officer and director level. He has 25 years of work in financial planning services, with clients in six states. His specialty is coordinating assets with the client’s actual life cycle habits. Lee has served on church and local government boards and is married with five children.
Bob spent 22 years in education as both a teacher and administrator. Since 2003, he has engaged in a different type of education – helping people secure their lives, property, and financial futures. Using his background in educational and business experience, he continues to help people in a different venue.
Ann has practiced law since 1986. She has taught attorneys, judges, and college students on a range of legal issues while practicing law in Michigan, Tennessee, Texas and Nebraska. Ann is licensed with FINRA completing the series 7 and 66 licenses. She is a licensed life and health insurance agent in Nebraska. Ann has the professional designation Certified in Long-Term Care. She has taught seminars for the Nebraska State Bar Association on the issue of long term care insurance. Ann is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
Ken entered the financial services industry in 1971 and was a vice-president in a variety of capacities in home office positions for 25 years. He taught Introduction to Financial Planning at Southeast Community College (1987-1989). He is a Board Member/Officer/President of the Lincoln Estate Planning Council and Past President of the Lincoln CLU/ChFC Chapter.
Todd is a life-long Lincoln resident and has been working with individuals and businesses for more than 10 years. He enjoys teaching for his former alma mater and understands that education is the only way individuals can make smart decisions regarding their finances. He is an Investment Advisory Representative and holds the Series 7, 66 and Life and Health Licenses.
Dale Percival has worked in the financial services industry for more than 17 years. His first goal with clients is to ensure they are well-educated on their financial options. He works hard to establish a personal connection with each client so that he truly understands their financial needs and desires.
A fourth generation Nebraskan and third generation graduate of UNL, Matt is finishing his graduate studies at UNO. He began his career in financial services in 1998 and worked for a Fortune 500 firm in Omaha. An Investment Advisory Representative and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Matt holds the Series 7, 66, 24, and Life and Health licenses. He specializes in retirement planning and post-retirement income strategies. He and his wife Jill have a son, Carson.
Dave has been involved in the financial services industry for nearly 25 years. He is a Registered Representative through the Securities and Exchange Commission, and holds insurance licenses in two States assisting his clients with their needs for life, medical, disability, long term care insurance, annuities and mutual funds. He is a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), a Certified Financial Educator (CFE), a 25 year member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and is currently the Director of Information Services and Education for a midwest financial services firm. Additionally, Dave is active in teaching industry pre-licensing and continuing education courses for a Nebraska based firm.
